Itineraries
Day 1
Guwahati Airport – Shillong – Sightseeing
Meet & greet our Representative on arrival at Guwahati Airport at 4:00 P.M. & transferred to hotel at Guwahati. Check-in at the Hotel.
Day 2
Sight Seeing at Guwahati
After breakfast, at 9:00 A.M visit Kamakhya Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Assam State Museum and Guwahati Planetarium. In the evening at 4:00 P.M. go for Sunset Cruise (1hour) at Brahmaputra River. At 5:00 P.M, start your journey towards Shillong.
Day 3
Sight Seeing at Sohra (Cherrapunjee)
After breakfast, drive to Sohra. While on the way, visit Shillong Peak, Shillong Tea Garden, Shillong Orchidarium, Air Force Museum, Elephant Falls, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point, Lyngksiar Falls, Weisawdong Falls, Dainthlen Falls and Arwah Caves.
Day 4
Sight Seeing at Sohra (Cherrapunjee)
After Breakfast, visit Seven Sister Falls (locally known as Nohsngithiang), Mawsmai Cave and Nohkalikai Falls. At 9:00 A.M. drive to Tyrna and trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Nongriat) and Rainbow Falls with a local Guide. At 3:00 P.M. climb back to reach Tyrna village, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Sohra. *Guide will be at your own expense.
Day 5
Sight Seeing to Mawsynram and Mawphlang Sacred Grove
After Breakfast, drive to Mawsynram and visit Mawjingbuin. In the afternoon, visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove and Khasi Heritage Village. In the evening, return back to Shilllong. Evening is free for Leisure.
Day 6
Your PlanTour to Mawlynnong (Asia’s Cleanest Village)
After Breakfast, drive to Shnongpdeng. While on the way, visit Mawlynnong (see Riwai Living Root Bridge, Balancing Rock, Bamboo Tree Top Tower) and Dawki Border (Boating). Evening is free for Leisure.
Day 7
Shillong City Tour
After breakfast, at 7:00 A.M. go for a short drive to Laitlum Canyon. At 10:00 A.M. go for City Tour and visit the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Phan Nonglait Park, Ward’s Lake, Golf Course and the State Don-Bosco Museum. Evening is free for Leisure and Marketing.
Day 8
DEPARTURE
Post breakfast at 8:00 A.M. visit Umiam Lake. At 11:00 P.M. start your return journey straight to Guwahati Airport/Train.
- One Double room at all destinations on twin/ double or triple sharing basis.
- Complimentary Breakfast (Except on the day of arrival).
- Airport/Railway Station Pick up and Dropping.
- Exclusive a/c vehicle at disposal for transfers & sightseeing as per itinerary.
- Service of an experienced driver up to maximum 09:00 PM. Luxury Taxes, Parking, Toll taxes, Drivers Allowance etc.
- Air Fare/Train fare.
- Any meals and services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions
- Entry fee for Sightseeing.
- Water sports activities or other optional activities charges.
- Personal Expenses such as Laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, Mineral/soft/hard drinks.
- Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
- Camera fees, Guide / tour escort charges & Entrance Fees.
- Any additional expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control like cancellation / hike in fare, strike or any other natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, weather condition, sickness or any emergency evacuation expenses.
- Liability for insurance against injury, accidents, damage to or loss of goods.
- Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure (unlikely to happen).
